Hello Mudah, Hello Fadah

The first session of camp is over and now the home stretch has started. I got to lead a five day and a three day long canoe trip last session to park Papineau-Labelle and this session I'm going on another 5 day long trip. The trips were fun enough and not very tough but the kids never stopped complaining. Hopefully this session the kids will be better. My tent group this session is pretty bad though. I only have four kids but one has ADHD and another one follows him around everywhere. The Bronze Medallion course is going pretty badly too this session as I am teaching 10 16 year old campers who just want to goof around all day and the entire course is taught in only 5 days. One of the six students last session failed and they were a much stronger group than the one this session. I can only hope they all pass this time. I must be doing something right though as I was chosen to lead one of the four teams for the final colour war at the end of the summer, and the senior staff have been grooming me for the waterfront director position for next year. All the added responsibilities have been piling up though as I am almost constantly assigned to multiple duties all at the same time. The senior staff have been considering my sugestion to get cloning facilities to solve all our duty problems but somehow I think that'll fall through. I should probably schedule some days off before they say that I'm too valuable and won't be allowed to leave camp. At least I'm having fun, and in the end it sure beats a desk job.
